A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, where he earned his J.D. cum laude in 1989, he has spent more than three decades as a trial lawyer handling personal injury and civil matters throughout Florida.

He began his career as an Assistant State Attorney under Janet Reno at the Miami-Dade County State Attorney’s Office, prosecuting cases ranging from DUI offenses to homicide. His work in the DUI and Traffic Homicide Division gave him extensive experience in crash analysis and accident reconstruction, and he participated in more than 47 jury trials during his time as a prosecutor.

After several years with large law firms handling personal injury and criminal defense matters, he opened his own practice in 1998, eventually expanding from South Florida to Naples.
